Clinical Lecturer's post in Sheffield
We are about to advertise for a clinical lecturers post (BMJ 7th Feb). We are keen to recruit from either pre-SpR trainee's (i.e. in/finishing resaerch) or established SpRs who want to change into the academic career structure. There are benefits to this switch, including diversity for practice and not least the job market. In urology we are in need of academics with unfilled professorial posts currently at Imperial and Birmingham, and unreplaced posts in Sheffield and Newcastle. As these post's encompass a tertiary urology referral practice in a centre of excellence they are rare in this job market.
